Bacon in Sin City
Plus food trends for 2023, the pasta queen's carbonara, and free doughnuts for voters
24 hours of bacon in Las Vegas
Las Vegas has never been a city known for moderation, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that a 24-hour bacon-centric restaurant has opened in the city’s Freemont Street area. Bacon Nation offers 24 different kinds of bacon from buffalo to chocolate-dipped. That bacon appears in everything from bacon flights to a bacon sandwich that uses bacon as the bread. The restaurant, located at the D Hotel, also offers boozy milkshakes, craft beer, and bacon-infused bloody marys.
Free Krispy Kreme for voters
If you’ve voted today (or early voted) first of all - thank you for doing your civic duty. Now, Krispy Kreme wants to thank you in the form of a free doughnut. Just head over to a participating Krispy Kreme location today, November 8, and you’ll receive a free doughnut just for voting. No proof of voting is required, by the way…just ask for your free treat.
