Trader Joe’s has outdone itself with its release of “Boozy Macarons.” The boxed assortment includes rum, French XO brandy, and Cointreau-spiked macarons. Make no mistake — these babies are spiked: You need to show ID when purchasing them.

Jack Daniel’s Sues Dog Toy Company
The Tennessee Whiskey company is in major Grinch mode this month after filing a lawsuit against Arizona-based VIP Products. VIP sells the “Bad Spaniels” Silly squeaker dog toy that features a spaniel on the bottle with the phrase “Old No. 2 on your Tennessee Carpet.” Jack Daniel’s says it’s trademark infringement. We say it’s adorable and, at $14.99, makes a great holiday gift for the dog in your life.

Remember when Twinkies were retired? The entire world mourned for the spongy cakes. Thankfully, Twinkies have made a full revival and are thriving.
