Here are NYC's Michelin-Starred Restaurants
19 new restaurants join the 2022 Michelin Guide New York with star ratings
Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka co-hosted Michelin’s star revealfor its 2022 Michelin New York Guide last evening, which announced the New York City restaurants that received one through three stars for the 2022 season.
On September 29, Michelin released a list of the 125 restaurants that received Bib Gourmand designations in New York City, adding 18 new establishments to the list of restaurants considered great values.
In total, 73 restaurants earned Michelin stars, with 19 new restaurants receiving stars, including two new restaurants, Al Coro and Saga, receiving two stars.
Five New York City establishments received three stars, an accomplishment designated to only the finest restaurants in the world.
According to Michelin, a restaurant that receives one star means “high-quality cooking, worth a stop;” a two-star restaurant has “excellent cooking, worth a detour;” and three-star restaurants offer “exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey.”
