Michelin has just released its 2022 Michelin Guide California, with restaurants from Los Angeles to Paso Robles awarded stars— including one restaurant receiving a much-coveted three-star designation.

The famed guide employs its own team of anonymous inspectors tasked with the monumental feat of eating across the over 163,000 square miles of the Golden State. 598 restaurants made this year’s Michelin Guide — a staggering number of restaurants.
