18 restaurants receive stars in the country's first ever Michelin Guide
Michelin unveiled its Mexico Guide, officially placing the country on the Michelin map.
Two restaurants earned Two-Star status, with 16 establishments earning a Star. In addition, six restaurants received a Green Star, signifying commitment to sustainability. 42 restaurants received a Bib Gourmand designation for their value-driven menus.
