The restaurateur and chef can't live without three items
Stephanie Izard loves her goats. The chef-restaurateur has a series of restaurants — and a spice line named after the creature. The chef — whose last name, Izard, means a mountain goat from the Pyrenees —chose Girl and the Goat when naming her first Chicago restaurant (there’s one in Los Angeles, as well). The name stuck, and now Izard has Little Goat Diner, Duck Duck Goat, Sugar Goat, and a line of This Little Goat spices and sauces, in addition to her restaurant Cabra, Part of The Hoxton Hotel, Chicago.
