Very interesting article, well written and informative for something that I find not appetising, but try every year.

My questions are, who first started gathering, growing, and used rhubarb; who first grew it in the dark; what is it used in other than pies?

The Mohawk valley (NY) is known for Rhubarb pies from its German or English roots of the 1700s.
